Making Tax Digital in the United Kingdom

When a U.K. based company makes use of our Making Tax Digital features, we pass your VAT Return figures to HMRC. For increased security our Making Tax Digital features pass additional information to HMRC including your IP address, web browser details, and other connection data. This applies only to U.K. based companies that have specifically approved Bookkeeping.Today to connect with HMRC for MTD purposes.

Security

We understand that you may have concerns about security on the internet. The security of your information is of the highest priority for us and we take all the steps necessary to ensure your information stays safe. Our servers use firewalls, routers and intrusion detection to prevent unauthorised access. Our servers are located in high security data centers so physical access is tightly controlled.

All the data we hold is backed up regularly so it cannot be lost even in case of disaster.

We use HTTPS and SSL, a secure communications method so that any data you submit to us, and all data we send to your browser is fully encrypted, and can not be intercepted while being transmitted. It is the same high security system used by banks and governments.

Children

If you are under 18, you may use this web site only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.
